Known for her undeniable talent, alluring beauty, and philanthropic spirit, Lexi Atkins has quickly made a name for herself in the entertainment world. Currently residing in Los Angeles, her music has been said to embody "extraterrestrial pop" by Flaunt Mag. Atkins would describe her sound as sweet and sour. Aspects of her voice / writing come off very light and angelic, but at the same time a bit bitter and out of the ordinary. She is influenced by all walks of life, and explains that there isn't one artist that she can't draw some sort of inspiration from.
Lexi discovered her love for music as a young child growing up in Champaign, IL. Like clockwork, she would stand on the fireplace at the same time every afternoon and perform a new song as her mom filmed clips for grandma to watch. The aspiring artist diligently honed her voice over the years, singing in school choir, and playing lead in school musicals. She quickly turned heads when she released an intergalactically entrancing cover of Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" in 2015. The track would garner a viral enthusiastic response as she landed acclaim from the likes of Maxim, AXS, and many more. Since then she has opened along side superstars such as Diplo, Travis Scott, Lil Dicky, Daya, Pusha T, and Bia to name a few.
Aside from music Lexi is known for her work as well on the big screenand magazines. Having been named Miss Illinois Teen USA and Miss Illinois USA, appearing in The Boy Next Door, Ted 2, The Messengers, and now the new Netflix original Altered Carbon. And in the modeling world she's been seen in Teen Vouge, People Mag, InStyle, ELLE, and Glamour to also name a few.
She recently has put out a new single "PURR" which has been said to be "a bubble gum pink feline fantasy" by Galore Mag. Lexi has a 10 song visual album she's been working on over the past year which is soon to be released. She has been in on all creative sides of this project from writing, producing, styling, directing, and now editing each song/video.
